Wrinkly décolletage

"If the problem is the redness that can occur from sun exposure the answer will be laser or intense pulsed light therapy that will remove or reduce the redness."

Question:

I am a 43-year-old female and I'm healthy and active. I'm happy with my facial skin but have a very lined chest and décolletage. I always use moisturiser and use sunscreen but I still burn in this area straight away. I always have a T-shirt line. Rather than wear a skivvy all the time, what treatment could help resolve this issue?

Answer:

There are a couple of problems that can be dealt with. The first is the fine lines and this is best treated with a medical-grade skin care program. It will improve the quality and rejuvenate the skin creating plumper more youthful skin cells that will diminish the fine lines. If the problem is the redness that can occur from sun exposure the answer will be laser or intense pulsed light therapy that will remove or reduce the redness. As always, ongoing use of sunscreen is essential to prevent further damage.
